Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi processions would also be taken out from the city and Naat Khawan will pay tribute to Holy Prophet on this occasion special programmes are being prepared for paying tributes and to highlight different aspects of the life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) the greatest educator of mankind. Various social, cultural, educational institutions and religious organization are finalizing their programmes for celebrating Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervor and enthusiasm here.
All bazaars, commercial,shopping centers, government and private buildings are being illuminated. The city district government has finalized all the arrangements to celebrate the Eid Milad. Earlier, a meeting was held in the chair of District Coordination Officer (DCO) Saqib Zafar reviews the arrangements. DCO directed all the official departments TMA, WASA, WAPDA, Sui Northern Gas, PTCL, Solid Waste Management to give every possible help and clear the routes of the procession. A control room will be established in ADC revenue office to monitor the processions while relief camps will be set up in Committee Chowk, Fowara Chowk and Pul Shah Nazar. Fool proof security will be providing to the processions.
The teaching hospitals will remain alert to deal any
emergency. On this occasion besides food and sweets would be
distributed among the poor, needy persons and the destitute.
