Dole: Harvesting and Packing Banana’s. It takes 3 months to grow and then harvest banana. After it is harvested specially designated boxes are ready to pack the banana’s and send them to market or export. Before harvesting the banana’s been measured with a special instrument to determine if the fruit is ready to harvest. Harvesting takes place six days a week. See here the complete process.
