Pakistan weathered a stunning comeback by Sri Lanka to pull off a thrilling 11-run victory in Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday night.
Sri Lanka nearly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after the eighth wicket pair of Seekkuge Prasanna and Sachithra Senanayake featured in an enterprising stand of 87 – a record for Pakistan-Sri Lanka one-day internationals.
